New signage installed and more...

Well our new signage certainly puts the Exelby Green dragon right at the heart of the community.  The signage reflects our ambition to be a true community resource for Exelby and the surrounding area.  Work continues with preparations for the shop, café and cottage all gathering pace.

We have been very fortunate to have been awarded a grant of £6,000 from Pub is The Hub to take forward work on the shop and café with Bedale and Villages Community Forum also making a grant of £900 towards the installation of outdoor furniture.  This will nicely round off the work of our dedicated group of gardening volunteers who are making sure that we can show off the Exelby Green Dragon to its full advantage and make it a pleasant place to rest awhile for the whole community.
