Well the excitement just grows and grows! As part of fulfilling our capital strategy as outlined in our Business Plan for Exelby Green Dragon Community Pub Ltd, Directors have been busy revising the capital plan for our assets taking us through to 2020.
A lot of fantastic work has taken place, refurbishing the kitchens and public areas, relocating the toilets, improving accessibility, creating a café and shop area and renovating the cottage to become Exelby's first affordable housing. All this has been completed on time and within budget and the feedback we have had so far has been overwhelmingly positive!
We will soon be working on developing the Bed and Breakfast accommodation above the pub to create three high quality letting rooms. Based on what we have learned so far, this will involve quite an extensive programme of works.
As we go on we will be looking to maintain and protect our assets to a high standard and once finalised we will share the evolving capital plan. If you have any ideas on how you would like to see this forthcoming phase of development progress, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
